A delegate from the University of Zakho headed by Vice president for Administration and Financial Affairs Dr. Abul-Hameed S. Dhahir, and Mr. Dlofan A. Salman, Assistant Lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics, participated in a training course which was organized by Center for Iraq Studies (CIS) in Germany. This training course lasted for (23) days.

Likewise, on 13/9/2017, the delegate also participated in (4th Iraqi-German Business Forum) which was organized by the Arabic Chamber of Commerce- Germany. Then they delivered a paper presentation entitled "Admission System to Higher Education in the Kurdistan Region-Iraq- a Critical Evaluation" in a scientific conference (33.German Orientalists Congress, Asia, Africa, and Europe).
